The Great Outdoors

I’ve always had a fascination and love for being out in nature. Since I was young I’ve always preferred being outdoors to being “stuck” inside, no matter the weather. This feeling still drives me today at 45 years of age. For the past few years I’ve documented wilderness in photographs, which can be found on my Instagram page @ 586_WOODCRAFT, and most recently on my YouTube channel 586woodcraft. Moments in time captures and trips to camp to work on DIY bushcraft projects. My hope is to inspire young and old to reconnect to nature, slow down a bit in this fast paced world, and clear your mind. It can simply be going to a local park or stepping out into your yard, whatever it may be I assure you it can be rewarding. So I hope you can come along on my journey and be inspired to set upon your own!
